In his case, Chad Condit claims he was harassed and unsolicited sexually approached while serving as the chief of staff for a stat hue senator from California. A lawsuit has been brought against State Senator Mary Alvarado-Gil of California, alleging that she has maintained her married male Chief of Staff as a “sex slave.” Condit alleges in the lawsuit—which was picked up by the New York Post—that he was forced to have sex with his employer for years in order to keep his job.
Condit disclosed that he was undepressure from the Senator to engage in these behaviors, including oral sex. He claimed that one of these encounters in a car resulted in three herniated discs in his back and a collapsed hip. He added that starting in August of last year, he started turning down the senator’s approaches on the grounds of a back ailment. He received a disciplinary letter accusing him of inappropriate behavior in response, though.
According to the lawsuit, the relationship was a “quid pro quo” based on sex in which receiving unwelcome sexual advances was exchanged for authority and discipline. Shortly after taking office in 2022, Alvarado-Gil named Condit as her Chief of Staff. According to the lawsuit, the Senator started disclosing private information to him about her dating history, divorce, and adultery. She also supposedly talked candidly about her problems with substance misuse and her leisure activities.
Condit lost his job in December 2023 because he wouldn’t wear a Santa Claus suit, which he says wasn’t expected by other employees.
These accusations have been refuted by Alvarado-Gil’s attorneys, who have described the assertions as “false” and “financially motivated.”
“In an attempt to profit, a resentful former employee made up a strange tale with no supporting documentation. Attorney Ognian Gavrilov said, “We are confident that the Senator will be fully exonerated of these false, financially motivated claims.”
The senator gained notoriety lately when she announced her intention to join the Republican Party, citing worries about the direction and policies of her previous party having moved away from her principles.
